The Rain

(spoken, not sung)

Movements !

The rain is raining everywhere
It rains on field and tree
It rains on my umbrella here
And on the ships at sea

Pitter patter , raindrops
Falling from the sky
Here is my umbrella
To keep me safe and dry

When the rain is over
And the sun begins to glow
Little flowers start to bud
and grow and grow and grow.

Movements

The rain.... - pretend your finger tips are raindrops falling
My umbrella.... - Pretend to put up an umbrella
And all the ships... - Undulate your outstreached hand in front of you to imitate the rolling of a ship at sea
Pitter, patter... - pretend your finger tips are raindrops falling again
My umbrella.... - Pretend to put up an umbrella
The Sun - spread out your palms and pretend to push clouds away from the sun
Little flowers - put out both of your fists and make your fingers 'grow' out of them
