- Phyllostachys Aureosulcata
Spectabilis
- The culms are golden with contrasting
bright green grooves, the leaves have an occasional yellow stripe.
The spectacular part is the rosy red tinting on the young stems.

Phyllostachys Aureosulata
Golden Groove Bamboo: Trillium Gardens was able to secure approx.
50 3 gallon containers of this variety from a grower at a great
price. Each container has 5 to 7 culms in it and is anywhere
from 4 to 7 feet tall. The Golden Groove Bamboo is hardy to around
Zone 5. The Bamboo canes on this variety are green with grooves
in the canes, a striking gold color. This bamboo can be easily
grown indoors in a bright room.

- This bamboo comes from the Island
of Awagii, Japan. Its large culms are line green in color with
grooves that turn brown or purplish black over a couple of years.

Fargesia Nitidia
- Fountain bamboo is similar to
Nitidia except it has a stronger arching effect. The culms area
dark mahogany color with a bluish white powder when young. It
is tough, beutiful and clumping.
