Somerfesto 2001 okazis je la 14a de julio en Londono, Ontario kaj estis granda sukceso!
Ni havis 17 æeestantojn æe Oscar Taylors Steakhouse en la urbcentro de la belega arbara urbo. Ni babilis, manøis, kaj babilis. (Kaj babilis, kaj babilis...)
Ni ankaý øuis la mirindan demonstron de magio de nia plej juna Esperantisto, Sylvie.
Kelkaj bedaýris, ke ni ne povis resti kaj ni parolis pri aranøoj por Somerfesto 2002. La neformala voædono estis, ke estontaj kunvenoj daýros dum du aý tri tagoj.
Finfine, ni eliris la restoracion post kvin horoj kaj iris hejmen, feliæaj kaj sataj.
Mi komencas fari planojn por Somerfesto 2002. Kingstono, Ontario estas la proponata loko, je la orienta fino de Lago Ontario apud þosejo 401. Se vi havas proponojn, komentojn, aý vi volus esti aldonita al la kontaktlisto, kontaktu Lunjon æe ktoy@attcanada.ca

Summerfest 2001
Summerfest 2001 took place on the 14th July in London, Ontario, and was a great success!
We had 17 people present at Oscar Taylors Steakhouse in the centre of the beautiful forest city. We talked, ate, and talked some more. (And talked, and talked...)
We also enjoyed the wonderful demonstration of magic by our youngest Esperantist, Sylvie.
Some were sad that we could not remain and we discussed arrangements for Summerfest 2002. The informal choice was that future gatherings would last two or three days.
Finally, after five hours, we left the restaurant and went home, happy and full.
