Somerfesto 2001 okazis je la 14a de julio en Londono, Ontario kaj estis granda sukceso!
Ni havis 17 cxeestantojn cxe Oscar Taylors Steakhouse en la urbcentro de la belega arbara urbo. Ni babilis, mangxis, kaj babilis. (Kaj babilis, kaj babilis...)
Ni ankaux gxuis la mirindan demonstron de magio de nia plej juna Esperantisto, Sylvie.
Kelkaj bedauxris, ke ni ne povis resti kaj ni parolis pri arangxoj por Somerfesto 2002. La neformala vocxdono estis, ke estontaj kunvenoj dauxros dum du aux tri tagoj.
Finfine, ni eliris la restoracion post kvin horoj kaj iris hejmen, felicxaj kaj sataj.
Mi komencas fari planojn por Somerfesto 2002. Kingstono, Ontario estas la proponata loko, je la orienta fino de Lago Ontario apud sxosejo 401. Se vi havas proponojn, komentojn, aux vi volus esti aldonita al la kontaktlisto, kontaktu Lunjon cxe ktoy@attcanada.ca

Summerfest 2001 took place on the 14th July in London, Ontario, and was a great success!
We had 17 people present at Oscar Taylors Steakhouse in the centre of the beautiful forest city. We talked, ate, and talked some more. (And talked, and talked...)
We also enjoyed the wonderful demonstration of magic by our youngest Esperantist, Sylvie.
Some were sad that we could not remain and we discussed arrangements for Summerfest 2002. The informal choice was that future gatherings would last two or three days.
Finally, after five hours, we left the restaurant and went home, happy and full.
