Huge 2-1 Win

The YG's played a strong game and came out on top 2-1. Paul Szafer opened the scoring, deflecting in a Matt Stockton backhand from the point. The YG's then killed off consecutive powerplays, barely even letting the Wranglers into the zone. Wranglers managed a cheesy goal near the end of the 2nd, sending the game to the 3rd period all tied up. After a back and forth 3rd it looked like the game was destined for overtime...however a late rush by Stocky and a great cross ice feed to Straz gave the YG's the well deserved win. Stockton claimed the Extra Dry cup with 2 apples on the night.
