- Cultural Description: Exercise #1
- A writing exercise done in response to a challenge on a mailing list for SF/fantasy writers. The object was to write a scene of 500 words or less that described a facet or facets of an alien culture.
New 11/10/98.
- The Hornèd Moon
- The prologue of a modern-day fantasy novel that I'm working on; takes place in a time both far distant and quite close to our own. Shapeshifters gather for the Time of True Change.
- Shifter Book 1
- A fantasy short story; a mercenary seeking the death of the wizard who defiled her homeland finds a partner. Will be incorporated into a larger novel.
Short Stories
- Constructive Criticism
- A short story about accepting feedback on one's writing; something that really happened to me. Took place in August 1991.
- A Hand in the Water
- A very short story about a ghost haunting a small town in Newfoundland.
- The Old Cabin
- A very short story written as an exercise, based on a picture of an old cabin at a lake, with a very modern car next to it.
Poems
- The Riders of the Winds
- A poem I wrote in 1992, that is serving as a base for a science-fiction novel I'm working on.
