We call it "I.C.P.O.", and it allows you to post an announcement, inquiry, or message
to all the other subscribers on the list. The message is automatically sent to everyone, usually
within minutes. We use it to announce current, and upcoming, expeditions to islands, castles and
fortresses, lighthouses, special events, or any other interesting portable operations on the air.
Hence the name ICPO - Islands, Castles, and Portable Operations. It's a good way to keep in touch on
a minute-by-minute basis with current ICPO activity. Best of all it's free and easy to sign up.
By the way, a few reminders: the list is Unmoderated; that means you control your subscription
and postings. If you ever want to unsubscribe from the list, follow the instructions at the bottom
of each posting. And oh yes, although anything can be discussed, try to limit your postings to
matters of ham radio, island, lighthouse, and other portable operations.
