Dave's Comments:

This is a truly great album. It features instrumental pieces that cover an incredible range of sounds and moods. Haskett occassionally tips his hat to King Crimson, both through the song's titles and content. Finley's percussion is solid throughout, using a variety of drums to create a varied and interesting backbeat. The inclusion of brass on several tracks gives this disc some jazz character. The last three songs of the album, titles drawn from the Sphinx's riddle, provide a wonderful contradiction, illustrating how it is 'impossible' to play the guitar. I think everyone should listen to this ... I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't like it!

Thanks to Chris Haskett for clearing up a popular myth: Rollins' voice is not featured on Zadit? or during the pre-show tape used for the 1997 Rollins Band shows. The source was an old Japanese/English instructional tape.
